She creates original art pieces which are referred to as art quilts.
She is an award-winning artist whose artwork has been featured in national publications, accepted into juried international exhibits, and displayed in regional and local art exhibits and galleries.
In her workshop you will learn how paint can be used to show off amazing texture of the quilted background. Students will create a painted quilt canvas which can later be embellished with applique or other techniques. Students will learn to apply paints to fabric and work with the finished painted canvas.
