Parkway Presbyterian Church, Fellowship Hall Building
Lisa is a long-time member of our guild who also is a very creative pattern designer and quilter.
She will be presenting a trunk show at our guild meeting Monday evening, March 12, telling us the story of how she became a quilter and showing us some of her pattern samples. The following Saturday, March 17, Lisa will lead us in a workshop on using squares and flying geese to frame a panel or a piece of fabric you might have in your stash that you love so much that you don’t want to cut it up into little pieces. She will share options on sizing and piecing flying geese blocks that make them easy and accurate with examples of color placement that make an impact. The pattern is included in the class fee.
Bring a variety of coordinating fabrics to frame your center piece.
General sewing supplies: Sewing machine in good working order, thread, pins, extra needles, scissors, rotary cutter, small cutting board, etc. Two large cutting boards and 2 ironing stations will be provided.
