My next class at Sewingly Yours will be Rearing Horse Stain Glass Quilt.
I did this quilt 10 years ago for my daughter’s Michelle Abel 16th Birthday. She wanted a car but I told her that she will have many cars in her life but quilt like this only ones in her life. I believe she never regrets that she agreed for this substitution.
Michelle drew me a sketch of quilt that she would like. I did not like much picture of her horse (Ha ha). My friend Ed Hightower drew me wonderful horse and I took those two and made her a quilt. I was so happy that one day when I took this quilt for my quilt presentation Amber Williams Dietz daughter liked my quilt and we decided to have a class. Hope it will be fun. Looking forward to work on this great project with my new students.

This three-class series will teach you how to create a stained glass quilt from a pattern developed by the instructor.
*Please note: the size of your quilt will be much smaller than my quilt hanging on the wall. Your quilt will be 52” by 67”. My quilt is for a double bed, 73” x 93” (dimensions are without border).
