Workshop: Wooly Flower Basket or Wall Hanging by Vickie Clontz

Vickie Clontz will be presenting “Walk on the Wool Side” at our Guild Meeting program Monday evening, February 11. She will then be leading a workshop the following Saturday, February 16, where you will be able to create a basket or wall hanging of lovely three-dimensional flowers or create a design of your own. Vickie will provide the foundation with techniques and stitches for anyone at any level of working with wool to inspire us all. You will really enjoy Vickie’s creativity and dynamic personality. Please join us!
Below is a partial supply list; more details will be provided as we get closer to the workshop date.
Vickie will provide, cost $8.50.
Felted wool, colors of your choice. Vickie will provide instructions before the workshop on how to felt your wool. She will also have available at minimum cost a “buffet” of wool pieces from which to choose at the workshop.
A partial kit containing the felted wool background and basket will be available at the workshop, fee yet to be determined.
- No sewing machine needed
- Embroidery floss or pearl cotton thread, needle, scissors
- Beads for embellishment
