The funds raised through ticket sales support our charity work.
We have several ongoing projects serving a variety of people in our community. Baby quilts are donated to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Brenner’s Children’s Hospital throughout the year. Several hundred nap blankets are created by September and given to pre-schoolers attending Equity Plus Schools in Forsyth County. At the end of the school year, the children get to keep their blanket as their own.
We also donate larger quilts to four organizations serving different segments of our local adult population. These include GreeNest, a source of household furnishings for people moving from homelessness to independent living and Solus Christus, a Christian Safe House for Women in Addiction. Quilts or nap blankets are also sent to the Williams Adult Day Care Center which provides day care for seniors who need supervision while family members are working and to Senior Services which supplies a wide range of services for the elderly.
